Elderflower Foraging Experience with Nicholas Balfe

We are excited to announce another chef-led experience here at Holm. Nicholas (chef patron) has always loved foraging and wants to share his passion with you.
The day will begin at Holm with a hot drink and cookie (foraging fuel) before heading out on an expedition to Ham Hill to forage for this fragrant ingredient. Upon returning to the restaurant, Nicholas will share two demonstrations with you: how to make elderflower cordial and elderflower vinegar. These in-depth demos will be followed by a three-course meal shared at the kitchen counter.

The ticket price includes: - An insight into how we work and what we are passionate about. - A walk on Ham Hill, Nicholas's favourite foraging spot and a lovely situation—to pick some elderflowers and discuss what to look out for when you go foraging on your own. - Two demos back at Holm, elderflower cordial and elderflower vinegar. - A three-course meal at the restaurant counter.
Please note: - The foraging venue is Ham Hill (subject to change), which is a ten-minute drive from Holm. So please arrange transport. - The terrain will be muddy and hilly, so practical footwear is essential. - Vegetarian and vegan alternatives will be available - please let us know of any dietary requirements. - Alcohol and transport are not included in the ticket price.
